City Line Tavern circa 1950

Hi, we are Richard and Shelley Albright.  In 2013 we decided to purchase the old City Line Tavern, located in North Albany, and bring it back to life.  As we worked on this project, we found out that the City Line was sort of an icon in the neighborhood.  William Kennedy even wrote about it in his book Oh Albany.  By hearing stories about this building, we came to understand the importance of breathing new life back into it.  We wanted to honor the rich history of the North Albany neighborhood.  So now it has a new purpose.  We will be serving up breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday, 5:30am to 2:00pm.  We hope through our fresh and delicious food, we can keep the old stories and memories alive and create some new ones within the community.
